About
After helping thousands of collegiate athletes run faster while reducing injuries, we decided to share our knowledge with the world.
Year after year, we see how addressing deficiencies in athletes transform them from mediocre high school athletes to collegiate national powerhouses. Unfortunately, running form is misunderstood by most. Many coaches and runners have limited knowledge how to run efficiently. Or worst, what they do know may not be based in science. Biomechanical principles demonstrate that there is one right way to run but many wrong ways. We teach athletes how to swing a bat, swim effectively, and kick a soccer ball. It is time to teach people how to run well, to limit injuries, and be more competitive for longer.
Meet the team
DERRICK WILLIAMS, M.S.
Co-founder
Currently, Derrick is a fourth-year Harvard Medical School student who plans to apply to orthopedic surgery. He is also a 14-time Division II cross country and track and field All-American. He graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in biology sciences. Derrick is passionate about helping people enjoy activities while maintaining the longevity of the sport by learning proper biomechanics.
BAILEY WILLIAMS, M.ED.
Co-founder
Bailey is an educator through and through. From the time she was in elementary school, she wanted to be a teacher. To achieve this aim she walked onto the collegiate track and cross country team as a freshman and graduated as team captain. After completing her elegability, she was hired as the woman’s cross-country coach. Where she leads her squad of 7 women to top-20 nation finishes. She attributes part of her coaching success to leveraging the pedagogical methods she learned during her master’s in education.
MATTHEW MORRIS, M.S., CSCS
Advisor
Matt Morris, a 25+ year track and cross-country coach, has coached thousands of student-athletes to run faster through application of science-based training strategies – including biomechanics. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with a masters degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science. He has coached 5 runners under 1:49 in the 800m, including 2 athletes who qualified for the British Olympic Trials. Now, he is excited to apply the principle he has learned in collegiate athletics to the broader running community.
